Faded Memory

Updated: Jun 25, 2019

I followed my heart to America. I do not for a moment regret it, but have left my home country and loved ones behind. Technology makes it easy to stay in touch, but sometimes the brutal reality that we are 10000 miles apart can be overwhelming.

'Faded memory' is a reminder to myself that even though it feels like dream and oceans, hills and valleys separate us, like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz, I will always find my way back home.

The rolling blue hills symbolize my emotions while painting this piece, the yellow, my way home, the pink a far away happy place.

Faith can move mountains - Matthew17:20
